In short: Gidero is an offline app. It does not collect, transmit or sell personal data. There is no bank access, no account linking, no tracking and no ads. Everything you enter stays local on your device.
What data does Gidero process?
Only the information you enter yourself — such as labels, amounts, intervals and the paid status of your fixed costs. This data is stored exclusively locally on your device (via the platform's own local storage). Gidero transmits it to no server and no third party.
No bank access
Gidero connects to no bank and no payment service. It reads no balances, transactions or IBANs. You maintain your fixed costs yourself.
No tracking, no ads
No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs are used. Gidero builds no user profile and uses no advertising IDs.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Gidero schedules local notifications on your device. No data is transmitted externally.
Network access
The app works offline. Optional network access is limited to technical platform services (e.g. loading fonts or a review prompt via the App Store / Google Play). None of your fixed-cost or personal data is transmitted.
Purchases
Premium purchases — once available — are handled via the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment processing happens entirely with those providers; Gidero receives no payment or credit-card data.
Data export & deletion
You can export your data as a JSON backup or CSV. Since everything is local, you delete your data by removing it in the app or uninstalling the app.
